About Me

As a queer artist, I strive to explore and challenge the gender dynamics that are ever present in the world of theatre. This examination began in my love for musicals, and has since led me to the world of Shakespeare. I am consistently enthralled by the ways in which these texts can serve to educate and represent queer demographics. Classical texts can be intimidating to bring to such an everchanging and complex community. Through my work, I have found that what makes these texts so inspiring is not the period they were written in, but rather the timeless nature and universal truth found within the characters.

I am thrilled to be graduating from CU Boulder's BFA Acting program in May! My studies there have been nothing but fruitful and inspiring for me to grow as an actor. While there, I have also had the chance to develop my skills as a stage manager and pursue other production opportunities. This year, I have taken on the role as President of the CU Fringe Festival, which has been indescribably helpful in growing my organization, leadership, and collaboration skills. Bringing student works and passion projects to life is a difficult challenge, but one that my team and I have been tackling with unwavering grit.

Stay tuned for more info and rambling as I get this site off the ground! Thanks for reading <3
